These two Fantasias were published in The Cittharn Schoole (1597) in two formats, 3-part score and as an ensemble for cittern and bass viol. This edition offers the parts in three different ranges - high for two treble viols and a tenor, original for treble, tenor, bass, and low tessitura for three basses (or tenor and two basses).
